Hello my friends,
Last night we arrived to Palenque, after 6 hours in the bus from San Cristobal de Las Casas. The town is well prepared to welcome tourists from all over the world. Everything seems to grow based on the tourism industry. We found 3 different tourists information, lots of accomodation possibilities and wide offer of excursions all over the area. We have decided to visit ruins on our own, and we spent there the whole day today. The place is amaizing! The complex of buildings, palace, several temples is really incredible. There was 8000 people living in Palenque (4 persons per square meter) after theirs great king Pakal had developed city to one of the most significant places of the Maya world. We weren´t that lucky with the weather, but it doesn´t matter. Warm, soft rain for time to time was a pleasure for people from Lofoten :)

Małgosia - 2008-12-12 10:36Niesamowite miejsce, bardzo fascynujące ... Piękna przyroda i oczywiście architektura. Fajnie, ze mogliście zwiedzać Palengue samemu, a nie z wycieczką. I jeszcze bardzo atrakcyjne jest to, że każdy Wasz reportaż (każde mniejsce) jest całkowicie odmienne od pozostałych.
A ja wybieram się dziś po pracy na nartki :-)

Michał - 2009-02-02 11:55Swietne zdjecia:) wg mnie najlepsze ruiny majow:) ale Tikal i Tulum(te glownie polozeniem) sa niemal rownie piekne:)
